The Golden Youth Newsletter

The South Asian Americans in Public Service initiative is excited to continue our new social media series, featuring students from across the country who, in the midst of an immensely challenging time for our nation, are turning to public service to positively impact their communities.

Today, the spotlight is on The Golden Youth Newsletter, an initiative led by Anagha Kumar, a sophomore at Harvard College! COVID-19 has forced senior centers to close most of their facilities and nursing homes to prevent visitors - leaving many seniors feeling lonely. This newsletter aims to change that. This newsletter - which will be going to senior centers and nursing homes across the country - will contain safe exercises, cognitive exercises, as well as a student produced art section!
